Bengaluru: Retail-technology firm ‘SnapBizz’ on Thursday announced the launch of “TURBO”, a digital solution specially designed for Kirana retailers in the country.
With the launch of TURBO, Kirana stores will witness the much-needed digital facelift in the era of modern retail and e-commerce, the company said.
It said the move will also help the Kirana stores make a smooth and efficient transition to GST without worrying about its complexities.
SnapBizz said with the launch of TURBO, it is aggressively expanding its operations all across the country and is looking to tap all the major tier II markets in India by 2018.
The company has recently announced its entry into markets like Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Gujarat while expanding its operations to a host of tier II cities in states including Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan.
“With the rollout of GST, digitization of the Kirana ecosystem has become imperative. It has reflected in the demand for the SnapBizz solution and we are highly thrilled with the response what we received during our trial runs across the country,” SnapBizz Founder & CEO Prem Kumar said.
He said this has pushed the company to expand its operations into various Tier II markets and the feedback from markets like Mysuru and Mangaluru are highly encouraging.
The company said the end-to-end technology solution offered by SnapBizz comprises a 15.6-inch touch-screen monitor, barcode scanner, printer and an intelligent consumer-facing 24″ smart TV for consumer engagement.
The solution enables retailers to increase sales through the smart display of products, offer discount to consumers, receive more revenue from brands, create loyal customers by smart consumer engagement tools and enhance profitability via smart inventory management, it said.
